Fatherhood Matters, Incorporated was founded by business entrepreneur, Martin Henderson. Martin felt compelled to begin this organization after realizing there was a true void in the support and education of fathers. Not wanting to solely depend on civic leaders to help in the community, he began to put the pieces together that became Fatherhood Matters, Inc.
Fatherhood Matters is dedicated and determined to make a difference in the lives of children by educating fathers. Our organization meets with fathers in various settings, provides fathers with counseling, as well as legal services; helping fathers to understand and exercise their paternal rights. Fatherhood Matters, Inc. also assists fathers with paternity testing for those with affiliation concerns.
Statistics show father absence is strongly connected to abuse, poverty, behavioral problems, teen pregnancy, incarceration, and many other issues. Fathers are simply irreplaceable contributors. It is our goal to help engage and educate men to be better caretakers of their children. We appreciate and value your support in helping us build stronger families in America.
